This is the concert version of the hit musical, written by former ABBA members, Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, who are also in the video.
“Kristina från Duvemåla’s original cast members (Helen Sjöholm, Anders Ekborg, Peter Jöback and Asa Berg) sing the songs from the musical in Swedish. English translation will be provided. The concert was part of the Greater Chisago Lakes 1996 Swedish Immigration Jubilee celebration.
The musical is based on Swedish Author, Vilhelm Moberg’s novels about Karl Oskar & Kristina’s poverty-driven migration from Sweden to America in the mid-19th century.
